Behind The Back Hitting Drill

The focus of this drill is on Back and Foot (& hip ) Rotation

  • Place a ball on a tee and put the tee in line with the player's belly button.
  • Hold the bat with both hands behind the back against the player's rear end.
  • Player turns on their back foot and when they do so the the back hip turns bringing the bat to the tee and knocking the ball off the tee.
